BBD Delay

Give space to your tracks

Back in the mid-’70s, guitarists fell in love with the relatively small-sized and reliable bunch of “bucket brigade” analog delays. The BBD Delay became a classic, thanks to its smooth, round delay sound and a Chorus/Vibrato mode that let it double as a modulation effect.

BBD Delay is available as a mono, mono to stereo, or stereo plugin.

  • Chorus/Vibrato

Sets the modulation effect between Chorus (both the dry and delayed signal are passed) and Vibrato (only the delayed signal is passed)

  • Expanded delay

When "On", the maximum delay time is 1,600 milliseconds, when "Off", the maximum delay time is 400 milliseconds

  • Noise

    Toggles modeled analog hiss

  • Input

Sets the input level to the delay effect

  • Mix

Controls the blend between dry and delayed signal

  • Feedback

Controls the level of the output signal from the delay that is fed back into the input of the delay

  • Delay

Controls the delay time in milliseconds

  • Sync

Synchronize the delay time to the Pro Tools session tempo

  • Depth

Controls the level of chorus or vibrato modulation
