System Requirements

Pro Tools | S6 is compatible with the following Audio, video, and monitoring software

EUCON-enabled applications*

Mackie Control/HUI-enabled applications

  • Ableton Live
  • Cockos REAPER
  • Propellerhead Reason

* Please note that while these applications are EUCON-enabled, the extent of integration with Avid Pro Mixing control surfaces and supported software versions are at the sole direction of the respective manufacturer. For details, please contact the manufacturer.


Please note: The WSControl application is compatible with Mac OS 10.9.5 or higher (including 10.11/”El Capitan” and 10.12/”Sierra”) and Windows 7 or higher (including Windows 10). Please check compatibility for your individual EUCON-compatible workstation software. Avid Studio Monitor Express is currently NOT compatible with S6.

 

Preconfigured Surfaces

The following preconfigured S6 surfaces are available to handle most music and post workflows. You can customize any S6 by adding a Producer’s Desk, Leg Assemblies, or customize the surface further with different channel module combinations.


M40-BASED S6 CONFIGURATIONS
With 16 faders, 5 knobs per channel, and TFT displays (S6 M40-16-5-D)
With 24 faders, 5 knobs per channel, and TFT displays (S6 M40-24-5-D)
With 32 faders, 5 knobs per channel, and TFT displays (S6 M40-32-5-D)
With 16 faders, 9 knobs per channel, and TFT displays (S6 M40-16-9-D)
With 24 faders, 9 knobs per channel, and TFT displays (S6 M40-24-9-D)
With 32 faders, 9 knobs per channel, and TFT displays (S6 M40-32-9-D)
